Our founder, Munich native Dennis von Hagen, began selling Bavarian breads and pastries in the farmer’s markets of Northern California in 2002. OctoberFeast was organized around the idea of bringing premium Bavarian breads and recipes to America without compromising centuries old culinary traditions.
Hubbed in the gourmet food scene of Berkeley, OctoberFeast stays committed to its farmers’ markets roots by using local and organically grown ingredients. This ideal, alongside our endless pursuit of perfection, has made OctoberFeast the premier Bavarian bakery on the West Coast.
