Beginning in 2002, our founder, Munich native Dennis von Hagen, began selling Bavarian breads and pastries in the farmer’s markets of Northern California. OctoberFeast was organized around the idea of bringing premium Bavarian breads and recipes to America, without compromising centuries old culinary traditions. Hubbed in the gourmet food scene of Berkeley, OctoberFeast stays committed to its farmer’s markets roots by using local and organically grown ingredients.
